Air. and Mrs. A. Watson, of Gisborne, are staying in Wanganui. Captain and Airs Sohnston (Wellington) are visiting Wanganui. Aliss Stuart (Wellington) is visiting friends in Akaroa.

Aliss Valerie Menteath is back in Wellington after a stay in the South Island.

Afr and Airs B. Kinnear (Hawke's Bay) have been visiting Wellington.

Airs Arthur Pearee 'ana Miss Pearce arc back from their trip to Sydney. Aliss Russell (Christchurch) is the guest of Mrs. W. Park, Palmerston North. ;

Air O’ Beirne is back in Nelson after a stay in Wellington.

Colonel and Airs Collins are back in AVellington after a visit to Christchurch. Airs. Hole and Airs. Hawke, of Wanganui, are on a trip to Rotorua, via Taihape.

Air. and Airs. Patterson, of Ohakune. who have been staying in Wanganui, have returned to their home.

Airs. Newton King, of New Plymouth, who lias-been staying in Wanganui with Airs. Dodgshun, has returned home. Mrs. Peake, who has been visiting relations in Auckland and the Waikato, is “jack in Wanganui.

Aliss Owen, of Wanganui, who has been staying in Wellington for some months, has returned. Air. anil Airs. L? Aioore, of Pahiatua, are the guests of Mr. and Airs. F. Moore in Wanganui.

Aliss Murray (Wanganui) is leaving shortly for England. She intends travelling by way of Sydney.

Alrsi and Miss Sclahders, of Nelson, who have been the guests of Affs- Blundell in ' Wanganui,' have gonfe for a ’visit to relation's in’ New Plymouth. Aliases J. and N. Colonel Robin ia back in Wellington after an abscnce of tljree or fow-w>ekß in Australia, where went to attend a military conference. Airs and the Aliases Chas. Morris, who have been on a visit to Sydney for some weeks have returned to Wellington again.

Air and Airs O'Grady and the Alisses O’Grady were passengers from Capetown by the Paparoa, which recently arrived in AVellington.

Aliss Ethel Aides, who has been away from AVellington for some months visiting friends in tbe North, has returned home again.

Air Justice Denniston and Airs Denniston (Christchurch) arc making a stay in Wellington at present. . .....

The Hon. Dr. Findlay is at present in Otago, attending His Excellency the Governor. Airs Findlay has gone to Dunedin, after a week or two in Christchurch.

Air and Airs Finch, who have been occupying Air Ward’s house in Salamancaroad, AA’ellington, for the past year, have now moved into the residence just vacated by Air Alorpeth.

Air and Airs Bannister are back in Wellington again after an absence of two months, spent in visiting places of interest in the South Island.

Airs, and Miss Jessie Campbell (Hunterville) spent a day or two with Mrs. Alic Knight (Palmerston) on Aheir return from the Christchurch Exhibition.

Airs. C. J. Monro, Palmerston, has just been on a short visit to AA’ellington.

Air R. AA’ardeu, who nas been spending a holiday in New Zealand, has returned to Sydney. Air Warden is an enthusiastic angler, and has had some wonderfully good sport this season, especially in the upper AA’aikato district.

The officers of the Post and Telegraph Department throughout New Zealand have presented Airs. Rose, of AA’ellington, with a handsome portrait in oils of her husband, the late Air. Thomas Rose, late Assistant-Secretary to the General Post and Telegraph Department.
