Dear Bee, March 17. On Saturday there was a large attendance at the END TENNIS COURTS, where the tournaments are now being played off. Afternoon tea was provided by Mrs. Lysons and .Aliases Randolph Smith ('2). Amongst those present I noticed: Mrs. J. green linen costume, sailor hat; Mrs. H. Stocker, navy blue and white spotted voile, white embroidered yoke, white and blue turban toque; Miss O. King, pale green linen costume; Miss Read, white linen costume, green ribbon l>elt, French sailor hat; Miss W. George, white embroidered muslin frock, prettygreen hat; Mrs. Johns, white embroidered muslin; Miss Roy, vieux rose linen costume, black belt and hat.; Miss D. Roy, tussore silk, hat relieved with scarlet; Mrs. Fitzherbert, white embroidered muslin blouse, navy skirt, French sailor; Mrs. Heard looked extremely well in a navy blue voile, prettily- trimmed with cream insertion, cream silk vest, white Valenciennes lace hat, relieved with scarlet: Miss Taylor, champagne coloured muslin, pale blue silk belt; Mrs. W. Newman, pretty black tucked voile, cross-over blouse, cream silk vest, black and heliotrope hat; Mrs. Tregear (Wellington), navy blue and white spotted voile, cream silk ami lace vest, turban toque en suite: Miss Tregear. pretty champagne and blue spotted voile) pale blue Empire silk belt, cream and pale blue hat; Miss Selfe (Sydney), rose pink and white check muslin, braided with white embroidery insertion. Valenciennes lace hat, trimmed with shaded red roses; Mrs. Fred Taylor. navy coat and skirt, white tucked muslin blouse, black picture hat; Mrs. Collins, pale fawn flecked tweed coat and skirt. French sailor, triinmed with green silk; Mrs. T. Weston) navy- costume. narrow cream silk insertion, toque to correspond; Mrs. Murray was much admired in pale, green silk taft’e-. tas. trimmed with a darker shade of velvet, crossover blouse, cream silk and vest, toque to correspond; Mrs. Penn, lace vest, toque to correspond; Mrs. Penn, black embroidered muslin, scarlet French sailor; Mrs. Rollo, black voile costume, cream coat, black picture hat;Miss Bedford, pale green muslin, cream coat, black feathered hat; Miss D..
