Dear Bee, Alarch 9. The Wanganui Jockey Club were again favoured with beautiful weather for the second day’s race meeting, and the attendance was excellent, although not ;o large as the first day, owing no doubt to the cup being run on that day, and it also being the local half-holiday. Amongst so many smart toilettes it was difficult to see everyone. Some of those I noticed on the lawn were Airs Abbot (Wellington), in a stylish dark green and white tweed Eton coat and skirt, white silk blouse, dark green velvet toque bound with shaded green braid, with quill wing at the side; Airs AV.
