Dear Bee, May (>. Last Tuesday evening, at the Burl ngton -Clnb, .Tearooms, Mrs Mathews and Mrs W. c Skinner gave an ENJOYABLE BRIDGE PARTY. The rooms have just been newly open'd, and everything looked at its best. There wege about fourteen tables, and play was keenly enjoyed until 11.i'll pan. Then a dainty supper was handed round. During the evening songs were
sung by Mrs Livermore, Messrs. H. Gray and Alexander. Mrs Mathews wore a lovely blaek silk with a transparent yoke of laee liujshed with 'Chiffon, relieved with yellow- «-oses on corsage; Mrs jy. Skinner, dainty blaek velvet with white chiffon fichu; Miss Mathews looked charming in a sweetly pretty white chiffon frock, embroidered with shamrocks; Miss Skinner, white frilled muslin; Miss L. Skinner, da'nty eream Bengaline trimmed with embroidered silk, orange poppies in hair; Mrs Clement Govett, eharming black chiffon gown over glace silk, deeolletage finished with handsome steel trimnrng: Mrs Leatham, white glace silk veiled in blaek net, tangerine Howers on corsage; Mrs N. King, blaek silk; Mrs Gibbons, blaek silk relieved with scarlet Howers; Mrs Broham, a dainty heliotrope brocade trimmed with lovely eream s : lk laee; Mrs Evans, black and
white silk: Mrs Hutchison, lovely white silk voile profusely trimmed with lace; Mrs Livermore, blaek net over silk, scarlet Howers on corsage; Mrs F. Fookes, black silk with white chiffon fichu finished with pale blue silk chon; Mrs Heard, blaek ami gold brocaded s'lk skirt, cream silk and laee blouse: Mrs Morrison, black silk and cream lace: Mrs Wylie, black satin trimmed with sequin trimming; Miss Testar. blaek silk with cream laee trimming; Miss Stanford. blaek s : lk with white chiffon
fichu, pale blue ebon; Mrs 11. Gray, handsome black brocade, transparent yoke; Mrs MeTavish (Wellington), lovely black net embroidered with sequins, decolletage finished with cream silk lace; Miss Haise (Wellington). black satin, white chiffon fichu; Mrs Alexander,, blaek mcrveilleux with steel trimming; M’ss Hamerton, pale blue ami white silk blouse, black .accordionpleated voile skirt; Mrs Addenbrooke. black silk trimmed with jet; Miss 11. Smith, black silk with lace trimming: Airs .Paton,,.,handsome gown of black satin, veiled in net, scarlet roses on corsage; Mrs Martin, cream voile; Airs Kyngdon. black silk, white chiffon front; Airs Murray, black silk with velvet strappings: Mrs Hntehen, pale blue silk blouse, black silk skirt: Mrs Horne, yellow silk blouse, black silk skirt: Alps Horner (Palea), black silk: Alls Pope, black silk and* white chiffon.
