Dear Bee, October 14. IIIK NAPIER ROWING CLGB had a cold and windy afternoon for the opening of their season lasi Saturday. The prizes were presented to the successful competitors by Miss .McLernon, 1 l;c daughter of the club’s president. The chief interest was centred in the ladies’ race, the crews for which comprised Misses B. Hill (stroke) and J. Miller (bow), Miss McLernon and Mrs Baxter, .Miss Dulcie Kennedy and Ethel Simpson.
