AUSTRALIAN GAME.
AUCKLAND V. WAIIII. WAIHT, Monday. A representative team of Auckland Australian Football Association players arrived here on Saturday to try conclusions whh the local team. They were welcomed- upon their arrival by the Mayor and a number of football enthusiasts. The match was witnessed by a large number of spectators, and after a very interesting game Auckland won by 4 goals 10 behinds (34 points) to 2 goals 9 behinds (21 points). In the firs-t quaiter play was fairly even, but the combination of the Auckland men told, as was evidenced by the score. The visitors were entertained at a smoke concert In Ihe evening.
