AUCKLAND GOLF CLUB.

The members of the Auckland Golf held their annual meeting on Saturday night, the Hou. Seymour Thorne George. M L <’.. presiding. The new course was longer aud more difficult than the old one, which the committee considered an Improvement. Regret wns expressed In the report that Mr. GUlles hod Intimated that he must resign the position of hon. secretary, which be had held since the Instlfu-< tfon of the chib in 1894. nnd the asslstanre and co operation of the Ladles’ Club was

Owing to the Increase of membership In the Club, the ladles clubrooui had been enlarged, and a new dressingrouin built, the greater part of the cost being defrayed by the Ladles’ Club. A new workshop for the professional. F. G. Hood, whose term c-t engagement had been extended, had also been erected. The following were the results of the year’s matches:- Mixed foursomes: G. M.
