HOCKEY.

An "A’’ team selected by Captain R. W. Barry, of the United Hockey Club, played rhe remaining members of the club at a very enthusiastic practice, held on Saturday. Mr S. Ruddock, an ex-Wellington representative, refereed, and with the captain,' took great pains to instruct players. Arrangements are being made for a match with Thames in the early part of June.
