THE RECEPTION AT GOVERNMENT BOISE. DRESSES TO BE WORN. We have received from the Hon. Hugh Boseawen, A.D.C. to His Excellency the Governor, the following instructions regarding the dresses to be worn ttt the reception at Government House on the occasion of the visit of the Duke ami Duchess of York to Auckland. Ladies must appear in low necked dresses with short sleeves. It would be necessary to obtain a doctor’s certificate before a high necked costume eould be worn, and the special permission of Their Royal Highnesses would also be required. Trains are not essential. All dress must be half mourning. Black and white or white ami heliotrope may be worn. Ladies when introduced to Their Royal Highnesses will make a curtsey to each. Gentlemen will bow.
