GOLF.

On Tuesday afternoon (Bth inst.) the medal of the Ladies’ Otago Golf Club was played for iffDunedin. Mrs Melland won it, doing the round in 92 strokes; Mrs Ogston came in second with a score of 100. The day was a perfect one, and there were a large number of competitors.

On Thursday afternoon the annual meeting of the Dunedin Ladies’ Golf Club was held at the Golf House. There were a great number of members present. Mrs Woodhouse was re-elected Captain, and Mrs Hosking Secretary. The Golf Tournament is to be held at Christchurch some time in August, and the local players are dailv practising hard in the Park. Miss E. Reeves was successful in winning the monthly medal (May), Miss Bowen being second.
