Bentley is in Queensland. A copy of the Queensland Legend informs us that * Walter Bentley, assisted by a company of one, Miss Minnie Brandon, who for good looks and voice is quite a host in herself, is now in Brisbane and will soon be here (Charters Towers). The extragedian lectures, duologues in set scenes with his company, and spreads himself generally for the amusement of the crowd. Mr George Warren, who piloted Cooper and Bailey’s circus is his advance agent.’
Every now and then Miss Faber is a striking reminder of Mrs Brough. The resemblance seems to be in the cut of the head and neck, the set of the features, and one or two tricks of expression.
