Dear Bee, December 26. Christmas is over, and all our pretty decorat ions have faded. But we still remember the pkasant dissipations of the week, amongst them being MRS FOOKES* DANCE. Of the pretty dresse* Miss Fookes and Miss Ethel Fookes were most ta«tefully attired in white, as also were the twins (Miss Margaret and Miss Grade Footer**: Mi<s Constance Bayly wore a very Dretty white dress: Miss Carrie Bayly. blue: Mis* RvnneH. Dancing was kept up with much spirit till the small hours, w hen tae visitors left after having *pent a most enjoyable evening.
The ladies' dance and Mrs Standish * dance I *hall have to tell you about next week, a* 1 must catch thi* mail.
At the breaking up of the New Plymouth High School a large concourse of people assembled. Among tnose present were Mesdames Prudharn. Cornwall. Mac Dear mid. Roy. C. Govetu Weettnan. WitcbelL Fookes.
