Mix and sift 2 cups flour, % teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons sugar and 4 teaspoons baking powder. Cut in 4 tablespoons fat and add 94 cup milk. Spread in a pie pan and bake 30 to 35 minutes in a moderate oven. Split while hot, spread half the hot pineapple mixture between the layers and put the remainder on top. Serve immediately.
