GENERAL ORDER.
Constabulary Department, Commissioner’s Office,
The Commissioner’s attention having been called to the fact that Members of the Force communicate with persons whom they consider in a position to orward their personal views or interests in connection with the office they hold in the Police Department; and as such a course is highly subversive of discipline, and calculated to impair the general efficiency of the Force, it must be distinctly understood for the future that all offences of this nature shall be treated as a serious breach of discipline, and the offenders, at the discretion of the Commissioner, dismissed from the service.
E. C. SHEARMAN, Commissioner of Police.
