Inquests.
An Inquest was held at Okarita on 11th September, before M. Price, Esq., Coroner, on the body of G-arrett Seanlan, a miner, aged 36, who was found dead near the mouth of the Little Wanganui river, 23 miles north of Okarita. Verdict —Eound dead, and supposed to have been drowned.
An Inquest was held at Oxford, on the 16th ult., before Eobt. L. Higgins, Esq., J. P., on the body of Bertha Powell, aged twelve weeks, who died from the effects of a tumour on back of the head. Verdict —Natural causes.
An Inquest was held at Hoon Hay on the 23rd ult., before J. W. S. Coward, Esq., Coroner, on the body of Mary How, aged 3 years, who died from water on the brain. Verdict —Natural causes.
