Inquests.

An inquest was held at the Ferry Road on the 7th instant, before J. W. S. Coward, Esq., Coroner, on the body of Jesse Davidson, aged 45 years. Verdict —“ Natural causes.”—Bth April, 1864.

The remains of the late Edward Griffith, manager for Mr. Lockhart, of the Heketeremea Station, was discovered by a Maori woman, on the 7th instant, two miles below the place where deceased was drowned, whilst attempting to cross cattle on the 21st April, 1862. The few remaining articles of
