Your Excellency, At the instance of His Majesty's Government in New Zealand I have the honour to invite a reference to Article 10 of the Treaty of Peace and to notify the Hungarian Government that His Majesty's Government in New Zealand, whose instrument of ratification was deposited in Moscow on 31 December 1947, desire to keep in force or revive the following pre-war bilateral treaties and agreements : 1. Treaty for the mutual surrender of fugitive criminals. Signed at Vienna, 3 December 1873. 2. Declaration amending Article XI of the treaty of 3 December 1873 for the mutual surrender of fugitive criminals. Signed at London, 26 June 1901. 3. Exchange of notes 1927. Extension to certain Mandated Territories of Extradition Treaty 1873. 4. Convention and note regarding legal proceedings in civil and commercial matters. Signed at Budapest, 25 September 1935. 5. Extradition treaty (supplementary to treaty of 3 December 1873). Signed at Budapest, 18 September 1936. 2. It is further desired to keep in force or revive the following bilateral agreements in respect of Western Samoa: — 1. Treaty for the mutual surrender of fugitive criminals.
