ORDERS OF REFERENCE Extracts from the Journals of the House of Representatives Wednesday, the 7th Day of July, 1948 Ordered, " That a Select Committee be appointed, consisting of nine members, to consider al Bills containing provisions of a technical legal character which may be referred to it, with power to confer and sit together with any similar Committee appointed by the Legislative Council: the Committee to consist of Mr. Coleman, Mr. Combs, Dr. Finlay, Mr. Harker, Mr. Marshall, Mr. Watts, Mr. Webb, Mr. Wilson, and the Mover."—(Hon. Mr. Mason.) Fbiday, the 6th Day of August, 1948 Ordered, " That the British Nationality and New Zealand Citizenship Bill be referred to the Statutes Revision Committee." —(Hon. Mr. Parry.) Wednesday, the Ist Day of September, 1948 Ordered, " That the Cook Islands Amendment Bill be referred to the Statutes Revision Committee." —(Right Hon. Mr. Fraser.) Wednesday, the 15th Day of September, 1948 Ordered, " That the Justices of the Peace Amendment Bill be referred to the Statutes Revision Committee."—(Hon. Mr. Mason.) Tuesday, the 21st Day of September, 1948 Ordered, " That the Public Works Amendment Bill be referred to the Statutes Revision Committee.":—(Hon. Mr. Semple.) Thursday, the 14th Day of October, 1948 Ordered, " That the Land Valuation Court Bill be referred to the Statutes Revision Committee."— (Hon. Mr. Skinner.) " That the Valuers Bill be referred to the Statutes Revision Committee."—(Hon. Mr. Skinner.) Ordered, " That the Carriers Bill be referred to the Statutes Revision Committee." —(Hon. Mr. Mason.) Wednesday, the 10th Day of November, 1948 Ordered, " That the Land Valuation Court Bill be referred back to the Statutes Revision Committee for the purpose of further considering proposed new clause 18a."—(Hon.
