Mr. Jones, Minister in Charge of the Air Department : Whether any change should be made, and if so what, in the organisation, administration, and control of civil aviation in New Zealand, including in particular — (A) The organisation of the Civil Aviation Branch of the Air Department and related services for the efficient discharge of the responsibilities of Government in relation to civil aviation : (B) The technical and administrative measures necessary to provide for the efficient, safe, and economic operation of civil aircraft and air services, including, inter alia, the principles and procedure governing the issue of Air Service Certificates : (C) The interpretation and application of 1.C.A.0. proposals for International Standards and Recommended Practices having an immediate and important bearing on New Zealand civil aviation operations : (D) The standards required of aerodromes in New Zealand for the operation of internal and international civil air services, and the economic principles governing the provision of aerodromes and air route organisation.
