2. New Cases notified as Tuberculous to the Medical Officer of Health during 1945 are scheduled and compared with cases notified in years 1943 and 1944:

The European incidence is 11-13 times the annual deaths. Figure for 1944, 9-7. The Maori incidence is 6-4 times the annual deaths. Figure for 1944, 5-7. The incidence of the combined races is approaching the figure 10 that is usually accepted as the ratio of cases to deaths in other countries.
