REMARKS. (a) Represents a contribution to acclimatization societies &c, from last season's opossum revenue; also refunds of fines and proceeds of forfeited skins, &c. (6) Includes all expenses of administration of the regulations with the exception of salaries, which are provided under " Salaries " in this subdivision of the Estimates. (c) Includes travelling-expenses, furnishing of offices, rental, &c, in respect of additional officers appointed for training Home Guard physical-instruction leaders, which expenditure, together with salaries, is recoverable from War Expenses Account. (d) No meetings of the Council held during the year.
