ORDERS OF REFERENCE. Extracts from the Journals of the Mouse of Representatives. Friday, the 6th Day or September, 1935. Ordered, "That a Select Committee be appointed, consisting of ten members, to consider all Bills containing provisions of a technical legal character which may be referred to it; with power to confer and sit together with any similar Committee appointed by the Legislativei Council: the Committee to consist of Mr. Barnard, Mr. Bodkin, Mr. Broadfoot, Mr. Endean, Mr. Field, Mr. Mason, the Hon. Apirana Ngata, Mr. Schramm, Mr. Wilkinson, and the mover."—(Hon. Mr. Cobbe.) Wednesday, the 11th Day of September, 1935. Ordered "That the Law Practitioners Amendment Bill be referred to the Statutes Revision Committee "— ('Hon Mr. Cobbe, for Right Hon. Mr. Forbes.) . Ordered, " That the Judicature Amendment Bill be referred to the Statutes Revision Committee. (Hon. Mr. Cobbe.) Thursday, the 19th Day or September, 1935. Ordered, "That the Juries Amendment Bill be referred to the Statutes Revision Committee."— (Mr. Schramm.) Tuesday, the Bth Day op October, 1935. Ordered, " That the Police Offences Amendment Bill be referred to the Statutes Revision Committee." (Hon. Mr. Cobbe.) Friday, the 11th Day op October, 1935. Ordered, "That the Statutes Revision Committee have leave to sit during the present sitting of the House." —(Mr. Broadfoot.)

REPORTS.

Law Practitioners Amendment Bill. I have the honour to report that the Statutes Revision Committee, having considered the Law Practitioners Amendment Bill and heard evidence thereon, recommends that it be allowed to proceed, with the amendments shown in the attached copy of the Bill. 16th October, 1935.

Police Offences Amendment Bill. I have the honour to report that the Statutes Revision Committee has carefully considered the Police Offences Amendment Bill, and recommends that it be allowed to proceed, with the amendments shown in the attached copy of the Bill. 17th October, 1.935.
