Extract from the Journals of the House of Representatives. Thursday, the 7th Day op December, 1933. Ordered, " That a Select Committee supplementary to the Public Petitions Committee A to L heretofore set up be appointed, consisting of ten members, to consider all petitions that may be referred to it; to classify and prepare abstracts of such petitions in such form and manner as shall appear to it best suited to convey to this House all requisite information respecting their contents, and to report the same from time to time to this House; and to have power to report its opinions and observations thereon to this House : the Committee to consist of Mr. Connolly, Mr. Endean, Mr. Holland, Mr. Holyoake, Mr. Howard, Mrs. McCombs, Mr. J. A. Nash, Mr. Sullivan, Mr. Wilkinson, and the mover." —(Hon. Mr. Hansom.) Friday, the Bth Day or December, 1933. Ordered, " That the petitions of C. R. Lloyd and others, N. B. Fryday, J. Kennedy, N. B. Fryday, H. Barnes, M. Aldis, V. J. Hellyar, W. Christian, 6. W. Drew, N. B. Fryday, J. W. Garner; N. B. Fryday, Arlidge Brothers, R. H. Burrell, R. A. Alexander, E. Hurcomb and others, A. C. Foddy, J. Hill and others, W. F. Cutler, and Florence E. Ford be referred to the Public Petitions A to L (Supplementary) Committee."— (Mr. Healy.) Thursday, the 14th Day of November, 1933. Ordered, " That the Public Petitions A to L (Supplementary) Committee have leave to sit during the present sitting of the House."—(Mr. J. A. Nash.) Saturday, the 16th Day or December, 1933.
