No. 61/31 (Sess. 2). —-Petition of T. West and 4 Others, of Christchurch. Praying for inquiry into the subject of work for rations, demanded by the North Canterbury Hospital Board. I am directed to report that the Committee has no recommendation to make. 9th September, 1931.

No. 148/31 (Sess. 2). —Petition of P. McWilliam, of Wellington. Praying that he be allowed to practise prosthetic dentistry. I have the honour to report that the Committee has no recommendation to make. 7th November, 1931.

No. 134/31 (Sess. 2). —-Petition of H. N. G. Dyson, of Napier. Praying that provision be made enabling him to practise dentistry under supervision. I have the honour to report that the Committee has no recommendation to make. 7th November, 1931.

I have the honour to report that the Public Health Committee has again considered this petition, referred back by order of the House on the 9th September, and has no recommendation to make. 7th November, 1931.

Special Report. I have the honour to report that the Committee desires to record its appreciation of the ability and courtesy displayed by the Chairman, Mr. C. H. Clinkard, in the discharge of his duties during the session ; and, further, desires that this resolution shall be recorded in the minutes of the Committee, and be reported to the House. J. W. Special Report. I have the honour to report that the Public Health Committee desires to place on record its appreciation of the efficient services rendered by the Clerk of the Committee, Mr. R. A. Pringle ; and, further, desires that this resolution be recorded in the minutes of the Committee, and be reported to the House. 7th November, 1931.

Final Report. I have the honour to report that the Public Health Committee, consisting of ten members, has during the session held seven meetings, with an average attendance at each meeting of six members. Seven petitions were considered and reported upon. C. H. Clinkard, Chairman. 7th November, 1931.
