Pneumonic influenza, the deaths from which are included in " Influenza (all forms)," is a form of influenza which is compulsorily notifiable.

It will be seen from the above table that this disease has been definitely epidemic for the last three years, but that the epidemic is waning. Although the incidence was widespread and taxed the isolation accommodation of Hospital Boards severely, as well as keeping staffs busy in effecting isolation measures, fortunately the disease was very mild in character.
