I hereby certify that the balance-sheet and Revenue Account have been duly examined and compared with the relative books and documents submitted for audit, and correctly state the position as disclosed thereby, except that in the opinion of the Audit Office interest charged on uncompleted works should be capitalized, and that lands in respect of which expenditure has been incurred subsequent to date when handed over for settlement should be loaded to cover such expenditure. Certain Audit requirements as regards future balance-sheets have been communicated to the Lands Department. The Revenue Account includes rents due for the period Ist July, 1923, to 30th June, 1924. — 6. F. C. Campbell, Controller and Auditor-General.
