Ordered, " That Standing Order No. 219 be suspended, and that a Goldfields and Mines Committee be appointed, consisting of thirteen members, to whom shall be referred all matters relating to mining and all Bills relating to mines, with power to call for persons and pipers; three to be a quorum : the Committee to consist of Mr. Bollard, Mr. Colvin, .Mr. Holland, Mr. Hudson, Mr. Lee, the Hon. Mr. Macßonald, Mr. Poland, Mr. Reed, Mr. T. W.. Rhodes, Mr. Scott, Mr. Seddon, Mr. Walker, and the mover." —(Hon. Sir W. Fraser.) Thursday, the 25th Day of September, 1919.
