No. 378 (1914).—Petition of Kipa te Whatanui, of Otaki. Praying for an inquiry, in accordance with reports on former petitions, to enable return to him of Te Waka Block. I am directed to report that the Committee has no recommendation to make with regard to this petition. 24th May, 1916.

No. 228 (1914).—Petition of W. W. Hipango. Praying that land be granted to the children of Hoani Wiremu Hipango (deceased) in recognition of the services rendered by him to Europeans in 1865. I am directed to report that the Committee recommends that, owing to the death of the petitioner, leave be given for the petition to be withdrawn. 24th May, 1916.
