The Committee resumed consideration of the Land Laws Amendment Bill. Clause 22: Resolved, on the motion of Mr. Massey, That subclause (I) be amended by the addition of the following proviso at the end of paragraph (a) : " Provided that the purchaser ■may at any time pay the balance of purchase-money then unpaid, together with interest thereon, to the date of payment." Resolved, That paragraph (a) as amended stand part of the clause.
