Estimated Liabilities chargeable on the Public Works Fund outstanding on 31st March, 1911 and 1912, and at 30th June, 1912.

Liabilities on Public Works Fund. The statement of liabilities supplied to the Treasury at the 31st March of each year by the Public Works Department consists of the total sum payable on vouchers received in Head Office too late to be dealt with during the financial year in which they were received, together with all balances on contracts entered into. The liabilities at the 30th June last consist of all authorizations of expenditure by Cabinet or the Minister of Public Works that have not actually been included in the expenditure. 9th August, 1912.
