Salt-water baths have been installed since last year, and are proving a great success. The swimming-baths have been frequented by a very large number of bathers. The St. Clair beach has not improved during the year, westerly winds having caused a continuous scour. Unusually heavy pedestrian traffic has also tended to reduce the level of the beach for a distance of some chains.
