EDUCATION: PUBLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS: AVERAGE ATTENDANCE AT PUBLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS, CLASS-ACCOMMODATION, AND ESTIMATED COST OF CONSTRUCTION OF SCHOOL BUILDINGS EXISTING, 1909.
Return to an Order uf the House o/ Representatives dated the 3rd August, 1910. Ordered, " That there be laid before this Souse a return, in tabular form, for the last educational year, showing (1) each education district; (2) the average attendance for each district ; (3) the number of wooden school buildings at the end of the year, together with the square feel of floor-space and the present oost < if construction ; (4) the number of brick and stone buildings, together with the s ( |imiv feet of floor-space and the present cost of construction being a return similar to part of a return presented with the report of the Education Committee in 1903 (see page .">, 1.— 13, 1903) ; and (5) the present cost of construction of buildings not over five years old, live to ten years old, ten to fifteen years old, fifteen to twenty years old, twenty to i wenty-five years old, twenty-five ti> thirty year.-- old, thirty to thirtylive years old, and over thirty-live years old.
