No. 308.—Petition of John Jeffries, of Wellington. Petitioner prays for further pension, and amendment of the Police Force Act. I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee the Government be recommended to pass legislation providing that all those members of the Police Force who paid into the Superannuation Fund when between the ages of sixty and sixty-five, and who have received no benefit for such payment, should receive payment commensurate with the services rendered by such men. 1909.
