No. 862 (1907).—Petition of Henry Mitchell, of Maketu, Bay of Plenty. Re the will of Aporo te Tipitipi, petitioner claims to be a beneficiary in a small block of land near Maketu, Bay of Plenty. I am directed to report that, as the petitioner has not exhausted his legal remedies, the Committee has no recommendation to make. 7th August, 1908. Petitioners ask that the power of administration of these blocks by the Public Trustee be withdrawn, and that the petitioners be permitted to administer them for their own benefit. 1 am directed to report that the Committee recommends that the petition be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. 7th August, 1908.
