Leased as a grazing-run before being brought under the provisions of " The Public Domains Act, 1881." Lease not yet expired. Okotuku Domain. Sections Nos. 338 and 140> Block VI, Wairoa Survey District. Area, 161 acres and 23 perches. Work done during year: Fences renewed and improved, plantation cleaned, and general maintenance. Improvements now on domain: Fences, building, plantations, and water-supply. I'sed for picnics, Volunteer encampments and tournaments, ami as a rifle-range. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Renewing and erecting fences, and maintaining plantations and waterworks. , OrAukura Domain. Section No. (15, Block XIV, Ohinewairua Survey District. Area, 9 acres 2 roods. This domain is under the control of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Wellington. Leased for a term "f fourteen years from the Ist January, 1907. Pahautanui Domain. Section No. 115, Block IX, Paikakariki Survey District. Area, 105 acres 1 rood. Work done during year : Twelve chains drain formed, and an area about 1 chain wide around the cricket pitch reclaimed. Improvements now on domain : Fences, gates, 40 chains drains, reclamation around cricket-pitch, and dressing-room. Used for cricket and general recreation. Proposed operations for ensuing year : Fleeting fence, cleaning out drains, and planting sheltertrees. PAHTATUA Domain. Situated in Block Ylll, Mangahao Survey District. Area, 14 acres 3 roods. Work done during year : Protective works, consisting of stone gabions and willows, carried out to prevent the encroachment of the Mangatainoka River. Improvements now on domain: Trees and shrubs. Sections Nos. 215, 220, and part of 211, Kairanga Survey District. Area, 13 acres. Work done during year: Fences erected am! trees planted. Improvements now on domain: Boundary fencing and plantation. Leased for grazing. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Planting trees, and ploughing, levelling, and sowing down an area in grass. Parapabaumc Domain. Section No. sa, Block VIII, Parapai auniu Suburban. Area, 5 acres. This area was brought under the piovisiotis of "The Public Domains Act, 1881," on the lith November, 1907. Since the close of the year a Domain Board hits been appointed to have control of the domain. P\ iikvilli: Domain. Sections Nos. 182, 183, and 185, Suburbs of I'arkville. Area, 36 acres 1 rood. Work done during year: Fences erected and trees planted. Improvements now on domain: Fences, cottage, suspension bridge, felling, and grassing. I'sed for picnics and sports. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Removing dead timber, planting trees, and general maintenance. Pipiriki Domain. Sections Nos. 1, 2, and 10, Block IV, Town of Pipiriki. Area, 17 acres 3 roods 29 perches. Not used by the public: unsuitable for recreation. Poiiangina Domain. Section No. 34, Town of Pohangina. Area, 10 acres. Work done during year : Fences and gate erected, and 2 acres ploughed. Improvements now on domain: Fences, plantations, ploughing, and stumping. Leased for grazing. Proposed operations for ensuing year : Stumping, ploughing, and grassing 2 acres. PoNOAROA Domain. Section No. 12, Pongaroa Township. Area, 13 acres and 12 perches. Work done during year : Five acres cultivated and sown in grass, and trees planted. Improvements now on domain: Fences, drain, trees, ploughing, and grassing. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Erecting building and planting shelter-trees. Poukiore Dom UN. Section No. 35, Block XV, Tiriraukawa Survey District. Area, 17 acres 3 roods 8 perches. No improvements effected during the year. Improvements now on domain: Ring fences, grassing, and .', acre plantation, i'sed for grazing. The domain was swept by fire, and it is proposed' to resow it in grass during the ensuing year.
