Eastern Extension, Australasia, and China Telegraph Company (Limited), Sib, Melbourne, 24th October, 1901. I have the honour to inform you that, from the Ist proximo, the cable rate to Eodriguez will be 25., and to Cocos Is. per word, for both the contracting and the non-contracting States; also that the cable rate for troop messages vid Cocos to South Africa will be reduced to Is. per word from Ist proximo.
