Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 23rd September, 1898. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showing the amouuts paid to each hospital in the colony for each year since ' The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1885,' was passed until the 81st March, 1898, — (a) for voluntary contributions ; (b) payments for maintenance of patients ; and (c) contributions by the Government."—(Mr. Guinness.)
