When last examined everything was in capital order. I could hear no complaints either from patients or staff. The new ward has been kept back owing to the difficulty of procuring the particular kind of slates which had been ordered. It will be a great addition to the institution, and promises to be equal, if not superior, to anything of the kind in the colony. Littlo troubles which it is not necessary here to particularise have occurred in the course of the year, but they have all blown over, and have, so far as I could find, left no evil effects.
