Registration of New Eules. 6. Registration of a complete amendment of rules— i.e., of a complete set of new rules—was made in respect of the under-mentioned societies and branches : — M.U.1.0.0.P.--Greytown, Britannia, and Eose of the Valley Lodges (Wellington District), Lyttelton District, Tirnaru Lodge (Lyttelton District), and Invercargill District. I.O.O.F.—Star of Auckland Lodge. A.O.F. — Court Perseverance (Nelson District). A.O.S.—Sanctuary Sir George Grey. W.M.C.—Wellington Working Men's Club. I.S.S.— Sydenham and Suburban Co-operative Money Club. Registration of Partial Amendment of Eules. 7. Eegistration of a partial amendment of rules was made in respect of the under-mentioned societies and branches : — M.U.l.O.O.F.—Gisborne Lodge (Auckland District), Egmont Lodge (New Plymouth District), Charleston Lodge (North Westland District), Ashley District (twice), Eoxburgh and Hand and Heart Lodges (Otago District). A.O.F. —Auckland District (twice), Wellington District (twice), Court Ashburton (Canterbury United District), Court Pride of Dunedin (United Otago District). U.A.O.D. — Grand Lodge of Canterbury District (three times), Brunner, Blenheim Mistletoe (twice), and Poneke Lodges. I.O.E.—Wbangaroa Tent (New Zealand District), New Zealand Central District. S.D.T. —Grand Division of New Zealand. H.A.C.B.S.—New Zealand District. Statistics fob 1893. 8. The number of lodges" whose returns are tabulated is 372, and of central bodies 31, distributed according to orders, thus :—

9. In tables 1., V., and VI., attached to this report, the respective district totals include the funds of the central bodies. 10. In the final column of table I. is entered the average surplus or deficiency per member, as shown at the last valuation of the society. 11. In the monetary tables, except the first, shillings and pence have been omitted, there being no apparent advantage in publishing the values more accurately than as shown by the nearest pound. 12. The number of members of these lodges at the end of the year was 29,763. 13.
