There were twenty-three patients in the hospital when I visited it, and of these five were persons who ought to be in a refuge. It is always a pleasure to me to visit this institution—its whole atmosphere is so kindly, and the public take such an interest in their patients. The management is all that could be desired, and the staff is amazingly small.
