IMMIGRANTS' UNPAID PROMISSORY NOTES (LIST OF).

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives, No. 94, dated sth August, 1892. Ordered, " That a return be laid before this House showing the number and amounts of unpaid promissory notes given by assisted immigrants now in the different Immigration Offices throughout the colony for passages from the Home-country since the immigration and public works policy came into operation ; such return to give the names of the persons owing such amounts." —(Mr. Pish.)
