AMOUNT SPENT ON NORTH ISLAND TRUNK RAILWAY.

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives, dated 34th July, 1891. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showing—(l) The amount spent upon the North Island Trunk Railway ; (2) the amount spent in each year, and the items or works upon which such expenditure was incurred ; and (3) the amount still available for expenditure out of the amount raised for the construction of the line." —(Mr. Pisheb.)
