Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated 20th August, 1889. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showing, for each year since 1880, the acreage of Crown lands disposed of, and the number of selectors, under each of the several systems in force for the disposal of Crown lands; the cost of the administration of the Crown lands, distinguishing the cost of surveys from that of other branches of the administration." —(Sir John Hall.)
