MINISTERIAL ALLOWANCES AND RESIDENCES.

Return to tin Order of the House of Representatives dated 25th May, 1888. Ordered, " That a return be laid before this House, showing (1) the amount of money drawn by each Minister of the Crown as allowances from the 23rd day of December, 1887, to tho 10th day of May, iBBB, showing separately the amounts drawn by each member ; (2) the amount of money expended in and upon each Ministerial residence from the 31st day of December, 1887, to the 10th day of May, 1888; (3) the amounts expended for furniture, fittings, &0., for the Ministerial residences, and the amount received by way of proceeds from sale of furniture previously in use in such residences ; also the value of furniture removed from other Ministerial residences to the Ministerial residence at Tinakori Road West. The said return to specify the different items of expenditure in connection with the said Ministerial residences." —(Mr. Kebb.)
