I have to acknowledge with thanks Mr. Eea's letter of the 2nd instant, intimating the assent of the Post Office to the proposal of my Government for changng the day of London despatch of the New Zealand mails via San Francisco from Wednesdays to Saturdays. With reference to the last paragraph of my letter of the 16th February, I should be glad if you would fix Saturday, 24th March, as the first day for the commencement of the new day of despatch.
