* This residence was occupied by the late Sir D. McLean, K.G.M.G., and the late Hon. J. Sheehan, and was closed during the year 1880-81, and the serviceable furniture distributed among the other residences. t The above does not include the rent of the Bowen Street residence, nor proportion of the wages of the carpenters and gardeners who are engaged in the departmental buildings and Government domains, but are at times engaged at the ministerial residences.
