I have the honour to submit the following report of the proceedings of the Civil Service Examination Board since the date of my last report:— BOARD OP EXAMINEES. NOVEMBER, 1884, EXAMINATION. Junioe Examination. • One hundred and nine candidates were examined ; 56 passed, 53 failed. Of the candidates who failed, 6 failed in 4 subjects, 7 failed in 3 subjects, 10 failed in 2 subjects, 30 failed in one subject; 24 failed in English, 20 failed in arithmetic, 32 failed in history, 17 failed in geography.
