EDUCATION: SCHOOL BUILDINGS, ETC., IN EACH EDUCATION DISTRICT (APPROXIMATE VALUE OF).

Beturn to an Order of the House of Bepresentatives, dated 20th August, 1884. Ordered, " That there be laid upon the table a return showing the approximate value in each education district of (1) school buildings used for school purposes ; (2) school furniture and fittings, including maps and gymnastic apparatus ; (3) teachers' dwellings ; (4) area and approximate value of all land held for use as school sites and playgrounds ; (5) area and approximate value of other land (not included in No. 4) held for purposes of teachers* dwellings, gardens, paddocks, &c."— (Mr. Moss.)
