EXCHANGE OF LAND (PAPERS RELATIVE TO AN).

Presented to both Houses of the General Assembly in pursuance of Section 148 of " The Land Act, 1877."

Exchahge of Land in the Pbovincial Disteict of Castteebtjby.

James Peendeegast, Administrator of the Government. "Wheeeas by the one hundred and forty-eighth section of " The Land Act, 1877," power is given to the Governor to exchange any land set apart as a reserve for other land of equal value as he may think fit, and to make a Crown grant thereof accordingly : Now, therefore, I, James Prendergast, Chief Justice of the Colony of New Zealand, and Administrator of the Government thereof, in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby declare that the land mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereto shall be exchanged for the land mentioned in the second column of the said Schedule.
