AYe hereby certify that we have made an examination of tho books of the Council, and compared the entries w 7ith the vouchers, and find that the Statement of Eeceipts and Expenditure for the year ended 31st March, 1879, is correct; that the Statement of Liabilities and Assets, as far as we can judge, is a fair estimate ; that the Public Debt and Eeserve Account is correct, and in accordance with 126 th section of " The Municipal Corporations Act, 1876."
